Are you the photographer that we’ll have on the day?

Absolutely! However, I can only be in one place at one time. This is why I include a second photographer as part of my full day wedding photography packages. 

At Stuart Dudleston Photography, it’s me that answers all emails and phone calls; it’s me posting and replying to comments on social media; it’s me turning up to photograph on the day; it’s me editing all of the photos and sending them to you! Me me me.

The only exception is when I’m out of office, where my assistant will be keeping an eye on my diary and reply to any urgent queries.

What is included in your prices?

Pretty much everything.

I’ve tried to make my wedding pricing as simple as humanly possible. I have one package, it includes full day coverage, a second photographer, wooden presentation box with USB, a few prints thrown in for good measure and a private online gallery with printing and sharing rights.

All travel and expenses up to around two hours from my house are includes, however distance on top of this is priced at £0.45 per mile and a cheap hotel may room may be required!

Can we meet you before the shoot?

My full wedding photography package include a meet-and-greet local to Bournemouth over a coffee (or something a little stronger) to help us get to know each other and collaborate on ideas. If there is significant travelling distance involved, then a Skype chat may be more suitable!

How and when can we pay you?

A non-refundable booking fee, alongside the signed contract, is required up front to secure my availability for the agreed date. The balance then has to be made up before one month prior to the wedding date.

UK clients must make payment using BACS with my account name, number and sort code – which will be clearly available on your invoice.

I also accept PayPal payments, which also allows you to pay using a credit card. Though please be aware that PayPal charges a fee of 3.4% + 20p for payments using credit card.

How many photos will we get?

Due to the nature of event photography, it isn’t fair to set an upper or lower limit to the number of photos delivered – as the numbers can vary quite dramatically.

It’s safe to say that I’ll be snapping away for the entirety of your event and I will provide you with all of the images that I feel are fit for delivery – as well as any specific photos that we have discussed in advance.

As a general rule of thumb, I usually deliver at least 50 finished photos for every hour of attendance at an event – though there are a huge amount of variables that may affect this number.

How long does it take to get our photos?

I invest a huge amount of time and energy into carefully selecting the final photographs to best tell the story of the day and give them that signature look. 

Because of this, it can take up to 6-8 weeks to receive the final photos during peak wedding season. 

The blog containing the best of the bunch will go up much sooner. So this should be enough to keep you going and share with friends and family while you’re still excited!

How will we get our photos?

All photos will be delivered in full resolution on USB in an awesome little wooden presentation box which will delivered by post. Digital versions will also be available to view and download via your own password protected gallery. 

Will you send us all of the unprocessed images?

Nope.

Unfortunately I’m only able to provide the final edited photos from the wedding. This is because I invest a huge amount of time and energy into creating my signature style and carefully editing your photos to maintain consistency, tell the story and evoke the right feeling. 

The only images excluded from the final gallery will be flawed in some way, such as a technical error (whoops), unflattering or an almost identical repeat of another image in the gallery.

I’m definitely more of a ‘quantity-over-quality’ kinda guy.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full details of my cancellation policy can be found within my Terms & Conditions, which ensures the protection of both myself and all clients.

If I have to cancel this contract for reasons beyond my control, for example including but not limited to sickness, injury or death, my liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.

You may cancel the contract at any time with a full refund of the balance, though it must be outlined that the booking fee is non-refundable from the time of signing the contract and booking fee payment.

The booking fee aims to cover the agreed loss to myself in the event of a cancellation. Events that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as I am able to reschedule for the new date and time.

In the unfortunate event that I am unable to reschedule for the new date and time, my liability will be limited to a refund of the balance. I will also seek to recommend alternative photographers with a similar style, skill and experience, though I will not be able to guarantee their rate or availability.
