What is lifestyle photography?
Over the years of shooting commercial photography from packshots to corporate events and everything in between, I’ve come to realise that my commercial ‘bread and butter’ lies with lifestyle brands.
As a wedding photographer, I like to capture moments. Instead of manufacturing scenes, I think it’s important to keep it real. That’s the basis of all solid branding – keeping everything real and true to your brand.
A lifestyle brand is all about culture. Creating a brand that embodies shared interests, values and attitudes. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the world and work with some of the biggest names in the game right now.
Getting out there, embracing the culture and truly capturing the lifestyle that your company endorses, put simply, just makes sense.
What I do is different.
If you’re looking for a photographer to create product photography in a studio or images of your business that could have been taken from a stock image site – you’re best off looking elsewhere. I have a huge network of photographers who would be much better suited and more than happy to work with you.
I do things differently.
My approach to commercial photography is from more of an end-user perspective. I dig deep into the lifestyle associated with your product or service to add more context for your customers.
If you’re a startup and launching a new hiking backpack – just send me a selection of your products and let me head into the mountains.
If you’re a premium estate agents looking for new website imagery – let me produce imagery that resonates with the culture and interests of your potential customers.
