Staying consistent with my lucky streak of bad weather – this couple shoot in Christchurch started just as I expected.
Dark, grey and overcast. Not even the good kind of overcast, it was just one shade of grey.
Nonetheless, weather like this really does help to get the creative juices flowing to make something special out of something that doesn’t provide much inspiration.
Christchurch in Dorset is a very beautiful place. Plenty of ancient ruined buildings and surrounded by water.
Sophie and Freddy were fantastic to work with. Very patient, even though I must have said “awesome, we got it – let’s just get one more” about 3000 times.
Just as we were ready to wrap up for the night, the clouds opened and we were greeted with one of the most spectacular skies I’ve ever seen. I think it’s safe to say that I’ve never worked so quickly to make the most of this moment. We managed to grab about 50 great and very different photos in the space of 10 minutes. I even impressed myself.
