Megan and Jerome are one of those couples that are so perfect to shoot with. Although openly admitting to being a little awkward in front of the camera, it absolutely didn’t show.
We made our way to Bratley View in the middle of The New Forest, Hampshire – where I had already scouted a few potential photo opportunities (on Google Maps – how very millennial).
I just can’t resist shooting in The New Forest when everyone in Hampshire seems to be getting married!
One of the most recognisable elements of Bratley View is the massive overhanging tree on the hill. Obviously, we made the most of that one. The sun was in just the right place to plunge the tree into shadow and create a beautiful silhouette.
Unfortunately there wasn’t much of a sunset, although the sun did poke its head out at one point, offering some really quite incredible stormy looking skies. Didn’t last for long, so we worked at 100mph to get some variation.
Big thanks to Han for shooting with me!
