Riva & Neil’s DIY Garden Wedding in Salisbury

I think it’s pretty safe to say that Riva and Neil’s bohemian vibe DIY wedding in the middle of Salisbury was right up my street.

Started the day with Riva at Qudos Hotel where I managed to bag myself some free parking with extra police surveillance. We were in Salisbury…you can figure out the rest.

Sporting her gorgeous Grace & Lace dress complete with a bouquet by Shirley Snells and with Neil suited and booted in a swanky Ben Sherman – they were both as cool as a pair of cucumbers as they rocked up to the ceremony, followed by a well deserved trip to the pub.

Riding in style, we took Neil’s pride and joy (a classic Land Rover Defender) back to his parents house for the reception. But not before we stopped off for some epic photos in the forest before tucking into pizzas by Ruff Wood Pizza. 

Most speeches are full of inside jokes and tend to fly straight over my head – but you didn’t have to be part of their inner circle to get the belly laughs going with this one.

The rest of the night was a total blur of alcohol fuelled ceilidh by the Stomping Boondocks and Riva and Neil’s mates bringing the bangers on the decks.
