Winter weddings, quite possibly my favourite thing ever. There’s just something a little bit special about that magical light and total cosiness throughout the day. Robyn was also in her element, being a Scotswoman after all.

We kicked things off bright and early at Coombe Lodge in Blagdon (Somerset) to make the most of the light and so I could get my eye in at the venue. The staff were really awesome and gave me a good tour of the venue to help figure out where the good spots are and when things will be happening later on. Always a good start!

Robyn was as cool as a Scottish cucumber, while Adam was also much the same getting ready into his fancy Saville Row suit from Cad & The Dandy, just a few doors down. After slipping into an unreal Justin Alexander dress from Alison Jayne Bridal Wear, we whizzed down the road to the church for the ceremony. Luxe Flowers’s spicy little bouquet was just the cherry on the cake.

A little bit of wind never hurt anyone, and also made for some interesting photos as Robyn hopped out of the car.

Whizzing back to Coombe Lodge after the ceremony, it was time to get some drinks down our necks and food in our bellies. Not sure I’ve ever eaten so much at a wedding before. Thankfully License to Ceilidh were on hand to help us burn everything off with some absolute chaos on the dance floor.

I love a good dance floor at the best of times, but this was on a whole other level with some pretty incredible crowd participation. Couldn’t resist staying right until the end, as it seemed such a shame to bail out early!

Thanks so much for having me along guys, the whole day was absolutely bonkers. I knew it would be a good’un after the engagement session at Worth Matravers in Dorset and these two didn’t disappoint.
