Jaina & Tej’s Indian Wedding At Manor Of Groves In Hertfordshire
Very strange to look back from 2022 and realise that Jaina & Tej’s absolute stunner of a wedding was not only almost a year ago now, but also the second full-size wedding of the year…at the end of July.
Which is quite possibly why the good vibes were off the chart from start to finish. It’s safe to say these two looked pretty damn good. There’s just something that little bit special about all of the intricate dress details and pops of rich colour with Indian weddings that make me feel all gooey inside.
The room at Manor of Groves was kitted out to the rafters with flowers and a stunning mandap provided by Gayatri Weddings. The light beaming through the roof and windows only turned it up to eleven.
The weather was a bit loopy but that didn’t stop us for running outside for photos and sheltering under a tree to capture the mood. Good thing I had a brolly with my to lend and keep Jaina out of the worst of it as we headed back. Photo for evidence…
The evening was rounded off with a proper rowdy dance floor that just kept on giving. Didn’t know where to turn my camera next as it was all unfolding around me. Anish from Professors of Sound certainly helped move things along.
Highlight of the day? Possibly having room service delivered to the couple’s suite while we were taking photos before the evening reception. Either that or the catering manager for SNK Foods searching the whole venue to find me to make sure I had dinner. A full photographer is a happy photographer.
We had the privilege of having Stuart as our photographer for our Indian wedding. I found Stuart on Instagram and instantly fell in love with his artistic and cinematic approach to photography. From the initial phone call, Stuart was so laid back that it did not once feel like talking to a stranger! He wasn’t pushy at all and did not try to sell himself – his work did the talking. This is one of the main reasons why Stuart was our favourite wedding supplier. He was prompt on the day, relaxed and respectful of our guests and religious ceremonies. He was always on hand to capture every moment, even when things got pretty hectic! We were also so surprised how he managed to turn around our photos in a matter of weeks! I can’t recommend Stuart enough, his work is fantastic and his personality is just an added bonus. Thank you so much.
