What an absolute corker of a day with Isabel and Liam in sunny Bristol. First timer for me at both Bristol Registry Office and Old Market Assembly, but I would hope not the last! Registry offices can be a bit of a mixed bag but this one has something special about it.

We started the day at the other end of Bristol with Liam getting ready at one of his groomsmen’s house, and Isabel at their apartment. I whizzed between the two capturing all of the little moment getting ready, which generally consisted of Liam playing with a cat and Isabel showing me how amazing their apartment is.

Isabel looked stunning in her dress from Clover London, and Liam didn’t half look bad in his corduroy mustard yellow number from Beggars Run.

Of course, we walked from the registry office across to Old Market Assembly, stopping en-route for a few photos and a tasty group shot on the bridge over the river, complete with a photobombing bird.

Old Market Assembly is a pretty cool place, has a unique vibe about it that’s perfect for weddings but also feels almost completely un-weddingy. There’s even a private theatre space with one of the coolest corridors imaginable.

The evening was, for lack of a better word, bonkers. A ceilidh with a bunch of drunk people is amusing at the best of times, but combine that with a relatively small space and a particularly excitable bunch and it was a recipe for utter chaos.

I loved very minute of it, plus Isabel and Liam had the absolute best day.
