I might as well move to Norfolk at this rate, and that would be very much okay with the sheer number of incredible venues and weddings I find myself photographing.

Second time at Voewood and so great to be back. This is a very well known venue in the area and rightly so, with some very quirky interior spaces and amazing grounds which are absolutely perfect for a big celebration.

Jenny was getting ready up in the bridal suite, while Kyle was banished to the ‘boys room,’ which is actually a really cool space complete with Nintendo 64 and film posters. Kyle and I were half tempted to crack open a beer and put our feet up to a game of Donkey Kong, but there was a wedding to be had.

The day was outrageous from start to finish. So many good people and good vibes. The ceremony was outside on the lawn, which provides spectacular views back towards the house and added some incredible drama with Jenny coming down the stairs and Kyle having what bordered an excited/anxious mess.

Such a beautiful ceremony, so much fun and laughter and tears. I knew we were in safe hands the sheer amount of energy buzzing around the venue.

We rattled through some group shots down on the lawn, but it was clear Jenny was done with those when I found her lying in a heap among her wedding dress catching up with a well earned power-nap before dinner and speeches.

The rest of the day was a complete whirlwind, with us ending up down in Pink Lloyds, Voewood’s very own secret underground nightclub, until the wee hours. There was even a doorman, and by that I mean a guest in a high-vis jacket. Felt legit enough.

This was one of those weddings where it felt like I just met my best friends in an alternate universe. Kyle and I were having a right bromance. Makes you wonder what Jenny was thinking.

A long old day, finishing up past midnight before a quick sleep in a Premier Inn at the side of the A11.

Wouldn’t give it up for anything.
