Pretty sure I’m still recovering from Francesca and Dave’s wedding from all the way back in June last year. There’s high energy and then there’s high energy, this was certainly the latter.

We started and ended the day at The Great Devon Barn, with a quick trip to Exeter Cathedral in the middle for a quick wedding. The morning was very relaxed and I just floated about between David and Francesca as they got ready. I then whizzed off into the city centre to make sure I was parked and ready to go at Exeter Cathedral. Now THIS is a stunning place to get married, had to pinch myself.

What made it somehow better was that we had an absolute stunner of a day, so the light was pouring through the stained glass windows and creating an ethereal vibe like no other. 

After the ceremony, confetti and obligatory group shot with the pooch, we headed back to the Great Devon Barn for drinks and canapés on the lawn. The sun was beating down and everyone was in high spirits, so we whizzed off for a few photos to catch our breaths. These two have some of the best chemistry I’ve experienced, I just had to point my camera in the right direction and everything unfolded in front of me. 

Speeches and food were in the barn itself, which is a great space with moody lighting and loads of atmosphere. Before the sun set for good, we quickly went out to grab the last of the night with a few more photos of Fran and Dave before it was party time. The venue is in such a great spot that you can head in just about any direction and be surrounded by beautiful trees and countryside. Couple this with a gorgeous sunset and an awesome couple and you have something pretty special.
